Here at QBT Ltd we are looking to recruit a team of dedicated and passionate tutors, who can provide targeted, high quality educational support in the following GCSE and A-level subjects:

English

Geography

Computer Science
The ideal candidate will be an experienced tutor with a strong ability to communicate effectively with children of all ages (11-18). It is crucial that staff are dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence.

Details

Prospective tutors would work with us at QBT Ltd as subcontractors, thereby allowing them to take on as many or as few clients as they wish - of course, client allocations are subject to demand.

Tutors would be notified by QBT Ltd regarding prospective clients, and provided both parties are happy to work with each other, the new tutor will take on the client for as many hours as is agreed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Produce concise reports after each lesson, detailing the content covered and the students performance. Communicate consistently with students and their families to discuss progress and areas for improvement. Work as an adaptive teacher, maintaining patience and flexibility. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting tutoring methods accordingly. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.

Requirements

Tutoring and or teaching experience in subject(s) of choice. A responsible and pro-active attitude. A relevant degree in subject(s) choice is desirable, although not essential. PGCE / QTS
