Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Private Tutor to work closely with two children and supporting them with their academic skills at their home. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students' learning journeys and possess strong communication skills.

Duties

Deliver tailored tutoring sessions across a range of subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs Develop customised lesson plans and learning materials to enhance understanding and engagement Support children with special educational needs by implementing appropriate strategies and resources Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate Foster a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and motivation Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development Stay informed about current educational practices and incorporate innovative teaching techniques

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners Experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining concepts clearly and engagingly Ability to adapt teaching styles to suit diverse learning requirements Organised, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting student growth and confidence Prior experience in education or related fields will be considered an advantage
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 21.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
