Overall Purpose of the Role
As a
Probate Advisor
, you will ensure the consistent delivery of a high-quality, compassionate, and efficient probate service that aligns with our firm's values and core purpose.
You will manage your own caseload of probate matters with the support of a motivating and collaborative team environment focused on coaching and development.
You will work closely with other Probate Managers, including the Administration Team Manager, to ensure smooth departmental operations, effective resource allocation, and a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational and Case Management
Manage your own caseload of approximately 20 probate files, ensuring all matters are progressed efficiently, accurately, and with empathy.
Monitor and manage team capacity levels and workloads to ensure balanced distribution and timely progression of cases.
Oversee performance against key metrics, including work-in-progress, billing, and banking targets.
Ensure all reporting is accurate, timely, and provides valuable insights to senior leadership.
Client Experience and Service Excellence
Ensure that all clients receive an exceptional, tailored, and compassionate service throughout their probate journey.
Work closely with the Customer Support Team to manage appointment availability in line with advisor capacity.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall client experience.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Ensure full compliance with firm policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
Address and resolve any non-compliance promptly and effectively.
Lead by example through personal adherence to all business and professional standards.
