Process Engineer

New Chapter are partnering with a high-pace, start-up that\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to free our planet from permanent waste.

They are searching for a Process Engineer (Manufacturing & Engineering) with an ability to lead their production optimisation programme, which will support the growth and scale-up of the business.

Reporting to the Head of Production, the Process Engineer will initially be tasked with providing solutions to efficiently manage product packout with the use of automation solutions as well as becoming the company expert on state of the art converting line as they transition from their current EU location to their new UK contract manufacturing partner.

You will also be assigned the task of conducting a detailed analysis of material flows, purchasing specifications and processing waste. There is a substantial opportunity to optimise and you will be at the forefront, leading the improvement programme.

Given the nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to be flexible to travel internationally for extended periods of time.

Professional & Academic Background

• Relevant degree, apprenticeship or work experience essential
• Broad experience within a manufacturing environment
• FMCG experience highly desirable
• Experience with soft, reeled materials and material conversion very advantageous
• Able to commute to East London office 1-2 days a month
• Able to commute to North Ipswitch based manufacturers
