Process Operative
to join our team and support the blending and production of our iconic beverages.
The Role
As a Process Operative, you'll be responsible for dissolving and blending ingredients, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting smooth production processes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, safe working practices, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and analysing products to ensure quality standards
Loading and offloading road tankers
Weighing and lifting ingredients (including 25kg sugar bags)
Dissolving granular powders (sugar, citric acid, malic acid) using plant machinery
Cleaning tanks, equipment, and product lines (CIP)
Maintaining accurate production and stock records using Microsoft D365
Transferring beverages to filling lines, ensuring CCPs and quality procedures are followed
Ensuring correct stock rotation and maintaining a clean storage area
Handling chemicals safely, using PPE, and following COSHH guidelines
Supporting waste management processes (operation of waste baler and bins)
Carrying out general cleaning duties to maintain GMP standards
What We're Looking For:
Educated to secondary school level or equivalent
Good literacy, numeracy, and computer skills (MS Office experience preferred)
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Adaptable, self-motivated, and reliable
Ideally, previous experience in manufacturing (food and beverage industry a plus)
Forklift certification is an advantage (training will be provided if not held)
Willingness to work shifts (double days and rotating shifts, including nights)
Comfortable with manual handling (lifting up to 25kg) and working at height
