Job Overview


This Process Setter role will contribute to the Polymermedics manufacturing business by focusing on the effective ownership & management of the shift and preparation of the Moulding process aimed at meeting the daily business operational objectives.

You will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern on a rolling basis working 4 days 7.30am to 7.30pm, 4 Days off, 4 Nights 7.30pm to 7.30am.

Hourly Rates of pay dependant on experience

Days 15.56 to 18.84 Per Hour

Nights 16.42 to 19.75 Per Hour

Essential Qualification's or Equivalent



BPTA Injection Molding Technology

Fully Trained in Process Optimization software and practices

Duties



Reporting of all HS&E incidents, unsafe acts & near miss incidents.

Support the implementation of HS&E corrective actions.

Always maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping Ensures that all work is carried out in line with company policy, procedures & cGMP guidelines.

Ensure all safety checks are carried out in a timely manner.

Prepare, install, and remove moulds and ancillary equipment required to meet the operational plan.

Carry out first-line tooling planned preventative maintenance activities (daily cleaning as defined in the cleaning procedure).

Ensuring that all processes are running and operating within specification.

Ensures all activities are undertaken & delivered in line with the manufacturing plan on the ERP system.

Using the ERP control system to ensure all records are accurate & maintained correctly. For maximizing process uptime, by minimizing downtime, and operational inefficiencies.

Ensures that all ancillary equipment & material handling systems are maintained in good working order & ready for production in line with the operational plan, or fault-finding & rectifying where appropriate.

Ensure that all regular 5s activities are carried out and that all 5s deviations are corrected and maintained.

Carry out process colour changes in line with the requirements of the operational plan.

Carry out all line clearance activities as required in accordance with the defined operational procedures & SOIs.

Ensures that all first-off samples are taken & inspected in line with the specification documents & SOIs.

Identifies process issues, takes appropriate corrective action, and liaises with other departments to ensure that product quality is manufactured in line with the defined customer specification.

Communicate issues to the relevant departments for corrective action as & when required.

. Responsible person on shift, overseeing the shift including but not limited to, assigned break times, machine assignments and technical resources.

Report any potential personnel issues to Production Manager or HR.
