About The Role

We are looking for a Foundry Process Technician, with a solid background in a manufacturing and engineering environment. Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Principle Role/Accountabilities:

Familiarise yourself with FVC foundry's current manufacturing processes and in-house database systems. Monitor and review current practises. Take ownership of current process controls, with a view to maximise quality. Maintain, review and update work instructions. Liaise with moulding team to maintain and review current sand/resin testing requirements. Collate data from R&D trials - present to technical and production team. Inspection and despatch of products between Billingham and Sheffield. Internal audits in line with certification requirements Work safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy LTD safety standards and procedures. Monitor the calibration of machines and equipment in line with approved schedules

Advantageous but non-essential skills/experience:

Previous manufacturing and factory experience. An adaptable and flexible attitude to work. Good communication skills - both written and verbal. A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules. Experience of working as part of a team. Foundry experience
