You'll take up this crucial role as a Process Technician to join our team that keep the water flowing for millions of customers every day. You'll use your skills, know-how and attention to detail, along with a dependable approach, to operate and maintain our production sites, reservoirs and pumping stations.
You'll manage water level and flow within our reservoirs and pumping stations to ensure we provide a continuous water supply to the communities we serve.
Experience in water treatment processes would be useful but isn't essential. Ideally, you'll have experience in process operations or an electrical / mechanical engineering background.
You'll operate, maintain and manage our water production sites by monitoring, optimising and continuously improving water treatment processes. Your attention to details means that data will be correctly recorded and work management systems updated accurately.
It's crucial that you're an agile team player and confident working alone. We provide a company van as this role involves working at different locations within the Maidenhead area.. Working hours are 37 hours per week (7.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday).
After your initial training, you'll be required to participate in a 1in5 standby rota to respond to incidents out of hours and at weekends. In return, we pay a standby Allowance (c. 2,000 per annum) plus overtime rates.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operating, monitoring, controlling, checking and maintenance of water treatment process at water production sites.
Control, monitor and manage the water treatment processes.
Required to take part in a Standby rota to provide out of hours support to the operational area.
Liaise and work with contractors while they undertake works on sites of your responsibility.
Complete all necessary administration associated with reactive and planned maintenance work.
Carry out General Site Duties at your sites.
Monitor and maintain security of production site.
Issue Permits to Work where required
Assist with capital works as and when required
Adhere to all H&S legislation, Company policies and Production "Standard Operating Procedures" (SOP)
You'll Need
Skills/Education/Qualifications
Experience in water treatment processes or a background in process operations.
water industry qualifications are advantageous
Physically fit for working in confined spaces
A clean driver's licence
Confident using IT and computers
