Responsibilities

Operate and monitor food production machinery in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines. Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations at all times. Assist in the preparation, processing, and packaging of food products, maintaining high hygiene standards. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential mechanical issues and report faults promptly. Maintain accurate records of production quantities, batch numbers, and quality checks using basic maths skills. Follow detailed work instructions to ensure consistency and quality in all products produced. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process efficiencies or safety concerns. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, adhering to sanitation protocols throughout shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery will be considered a plus. Basic mathematical skills for measuring ingredients, calculating quantities, and recording data accurately. Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a busy production setting.
