Do you want to work with our innovative, dynamic Procurement team in our office in Dover?

The Procurement team are currently recruiting for an individual who wants to do a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations. This is a fantastic entry into an organisation that has procurement at the heart of its business. You will be involved with the team from day one learning tasks within the key "Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours" that form part of the apprenticeship standard.

You will be trained in all aspects of procurement involving dealing with internal customers and suppliers, time management and analytical/ problem solving skills. A key part of this role will be the management of supplier contracts and data. You will be timetabled throughout the week to make sure that you attend tutorials and learning sessions with the training provider both on and off site.

We are a part of DP World, an end to end logistics provider with 100,00 staff globally in over 70 countries. You will have the opportunity to spend some time in our Southampton and London Gateway locations. As well as have access to our global learning platform and complete the apprenticeship with a Level 3 CIPS qualification.

So what are the skills we are looking for?

  • Level 2 English and Maths or the equivalent GCSE qualifications
  • Good IT skills alongside a good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workloads
  • A desire to learn the fundamentals of procurement and supply chain
  • An enquiring mind, commercial awareness and a hunger to challenge the norm
