Responsibilities:
The Procurement Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Procurement team by delivering accurate and timely administrative and coordination services. This includes managing supplier performance data, preparing reports, and ensuring clear, consistent communication across the business and supplier network.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee and resolve invoice queries, liaising with Finance and suppliers to ensure accurate, timely resolution.
Maintain and update procurement data within Recipe Professor, ensuring accuracy and alignment with system requirements.
Review and summarise On Time In Full (OTIF) reports, highlighting supplier performance trends.
Support supplier review meetings, preparing data packs, taking meeting notes, capturing actions, and following up as needed.
Assist with risk analysis and the collection of supplier compliance documentation.
Support alternative supplier searches, including research, coordination of meetings, distribution of updates, and follow-ups with suppliers and internal teams.
Contribute to monthly procurement reporting, pulling together information and presenting clear summaries.
Represent Procurement in weekly cross-functional meetings, noting and communicating actions to the wider team.
Work proactively and independently, managing time and priorities within the agreed structure and guidance.

Qualifications:
We're looking for a proactive, highly organised individual who thrives in a structured environment, manages multiple priorities with confidence, and communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in procurement or supply chain administration is advantageous but not essential
Exceptional administrative, organisational and time-management skills
Strong communication abilities, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders and suppliers
High computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
Meticulous attention to detail, with a methodical approach to data and document management
Adaptable and resilient, able to perform in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Positive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to learn
Full training provided on QAD, Recipe Professor, and other Zertus systems
