Salary - 60,144 - 63,535 (Grade 9)



Hours - 37



Contract type - full time permanent



Work Style - Flexible workstyle (hybrid, minimum two office days per week)



About Us





The Council is looking for a person to join the Procurement and Commercial team for our new chapter. We are looking for a person with Digital & ICT category experience, who can demonstrate the right commercial acumen, confidence to disrupt traditional thinking and enthusiasm to make a difference. The Council operates within central Wolverhampton but opportunities for flexible and agile working will be considered.

The Role




An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Professional to join the team as Procurement Business Partner with a focus on the Digital & ICT category.


The role will require an individual with in-depth knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023 and procurement best practice.

Candidate Experience




We're looking for someone with strong procurement expertise and a track record of delivering results in a complex environment. Ideally, you'll bring:

Experience working at a senior level in procurement Proven ability to lead strategic projects and manage change Strong understanding of tender processes and contract management Confidence in providing commercial and procurement advice Familiarity with e-procurement systems and supplier relationship management Experience working collaboratively across teams and agencies For a full breakdown of the experience required, please refer to the .

Qualifications




Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply via examination and Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPs) or studying towards level 6

A Category specific relevant degree


Including where applicable continued professional membership of the relative awarding body.
