Senior Procurement Specialist
to join our Procurement Team, supporting a non-core area of the business specifically focused on the procurement of kitchen products, components, and solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in kitchen product distribution or supply chain, looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic and supportive team.
Job Summary
This role will be instrumental in sourcing and managing materials and products related to our kitchen company, ensuring effective supplier relationships and maintaining best value for the business. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver the right products on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers of kitchen products and components.
Understand project timelines and requirements from internal teams to ensure aligned procurement scheduling.
Manage the full procurement cycle: from raising purchase orders through to coordinating deliveries to sites.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, including booking deliveries in line with site logistics and handling invoice queries.
Work proactively with site teams to identify long lead-time items and plan orders accordingly.
Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and assess value against business requirements.
Monitor stock levels and anticipate future needs based on project demands.
Research and source new products, innovations, and suppliers in the kitchen solutions sector.
Analyse spend data and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Provide support to the Procurement Manager as required.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within kitchen products, furniture fittings, or component supply chains.
Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or a related field (desirable but not essential with equivalent experience).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
