We're looking for a Procurement & Commercial Coordinator to join our growing team at Air Cladding Supplies Ltd, a leading supplier and fabricator of industrial cladding materials.
About the Role
You'll play a key part in our day-to-day operations, managing procurement, pricing, and order flow for materials used in the fabrication of flashings and rolled profiles.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused position, ideal for someone who enjoys working across purchasing, production coordination, and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Procuring materials (coil, sheet, fixings, membranes, etc.) for fabrication, ensuring competitive prices and strong supplier relationships.
Negotiating with suppliers and monitoring market trends to maintain cost efficiency and profitability.
Producing customer quotations with accuracy and speed, maintaining margin targets.
Processing sales orders and coordinating production schedules with the fabrication team.
Organising logistics, including collections and deliveries to customers nationwide.
Tracking stock levels and forecasting material requirements to avoid shortages or delays.
Collaborating with the sales team to ensure lead times and customer expectations are met.
Maintaining accurate records using systems such as Sage (or similar ERP platforms).
Using Excel for pricing analysis, reporting, and data tracking.
About You
You're someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and solving problems on the go. You'll often switch between supplier calls, pricing spreadsheets, and production discussions, so a sharp commercial mindset and calm under pressure are essential.
Key skills and attributes:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Commercial awareness - able to balance cost, quality, and delivery.
Good Excel knowledge - comfortable with formulas, data entry, and reporting.
Experience with Sage or similar systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
Organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
Confident speaking with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
A proactive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently.

Experience in the cladding, sheet metal, or construction supplies sector.
Knowledge of fabrication materials or manufacturing processes.
An understanding of transport or logistics coordination.
