Position Overview
The Procurement Director is responsible for developing and executing the group's procurement and supply chain strategy, building supplier networks, managing costs, and ensuring consistent product quality across subsidiaries and partner operations.
This role reports directly to the company's board of directors and plays a key leadership role in overall group operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the group procurement strategy to ensure unified, efficient, and compliant purchasing across all subsidiaries and brands.
Establish and maintain supplier management systems, including supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, risk management, and classification.
Lead contract negotiations and strategic sourcing for key materials and suppliers to secure favourable terms and stable supply.
Oversee centralised purchasing of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and third-party services such as logistics and warehousing.
Monitor market trends and cost fluctuations and prepare regular procurement reports for senior management.
Collaborate with finance and operations departments to develop annual procurement budgets and cost control mechanisms.
Drive digital transformation by introducing e-procurement and inventory management systems.
Supervise import, export, and cross-border procurement activities to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with UK legal, food safety, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
Represent the company in supplier audits and business negotiations, maintaining strong partnerships and transparency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the food, restaurant, or retail sector.
Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical and cost management skills, with the ability to optimize supply chain performance.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills, capable of leading a high-performing team.
Familiarity with UK and international procurement regulations and procedures.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CIPS or MCIPS are desirable.
Possession of a valid Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.

Workplace: London HQ, with occasional travel to branch offices and supplier sites
Salary: 32,000 - 55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
