Dale Farm Cooperative is a UK dairy farmer co-operative owned by over 1200 dairy farmers who supply us with fresh milk. The Role




Reporting to the Category Manager, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for administrative duties relating to purchasing and packaging data for group procurement, engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain and manage procurement data/queries for vendors and items.


This role is suited to a dynamic professional with an excellent work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.


To support development, the company will support the successful candidate to achieve a Diploma in Packaging Technology or an alternative Packaging course


What you'll be doing:



Manage new vendor set-up on Navision/Business Central in line with KPIs Manage part number creation on Navision/Business Central /Foods Connected to agreed KPIs Maintain supplier pricing/MOQs and resolution of invoice queries within KPIs Maintain supplier procurement data is maintained in Foods Connected; resolving anomalies and ensuring data is managed with legislation and Dale Farm compliance obligations. Provide component data to Dale Farm's compliance partner for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting Communicate weekly team update Responsible for all internal requests for provision of technical specification data Work with the Packaging Technologist to complete customer specification returns/questionnaires Responsible for verifying and maintaining specifications for items Understand sustainability legislative requirements and ensure these needs are reflected in packaging on performance to established KPIs. Be responsible for supporting packaging team packaging projects/trials. Carry out other duties as reasonably required

What we are looking for:



Minimum 1 years' experience within a procurement or packaging administrative role. A 3rd level qualification in a relevant area (desirable) Excellent administrative skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) High attention to detail Full driving license and access to transport Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)
