We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Supply Chain Manager

to join our team within Kingfisher Lighting. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for overseeing the entire Purchasing, Procurement, and Supply Chain function across our organization. , you will:

Procurement & Supplier Management

: Lead the procurement activities and negotiate contracts for the supply of goods and services. Design and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Procurement and the Supply Chain to ensure consistent, effective processes. Implement contractual agreements to ensure supply security at competitive industry costs. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time and in-full delivery (OTIF) with a performance target of >95%. Focus on increasing profitability through continuous cost-saving initiatives.

Supply Chain Operations

: Manage and execute supply chain activities aligned with the business plan, ensuring KPIs are met to support business needs. Improve internal forecasting and demand planning, ensuring a smooth Sales and Operations Planning cycle. Work closely with the Sales Director and Sales team to monitor and adjust forecasts to align purchasing and supply chain activities with sales. Support and collaborate with third-party manufacturers in China and Italy to streamline supply chain processes. Coordinate logistics for carriage inwards and containers from international suppliers.

Strategic & Compliance Responsibilities

: Lead the development of new product introductions, working alongside R&D and Quality teams to achieve the best outcomes in cost, availability, and quality. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, particularly related to electrical components. Use your expertise to design and implement effective cost-saving strategies while ensuring the highest quality of service.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:



At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally within the lighting or electrical engineering industry. Proven ability to manage international supply chains and understand the complexities of configuring products to order rather than building for stock. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of establishing long-term, strategic contractual agreements. Experience with implementing group ERP systems and ensuring all supply chain processes are aligned and optimized. In-depth understanding of industry regulations and compliance, particularly for electrical components. Ability to lead teams and collaborate with various departments to ensure organizational objectives are met.

Skills & Abilities:



Strong organizational, communication, and numerical skills. A commercially astute individual who can operate tactically and strategically. Full, clean driving license. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education Requirements:



Ideally degree-educated, with a preference for a formal MCIPS qualification.
