LANX is a rapidly growing Lancashire based footwear brand. We take great pride in producing quality footwear for both men and women. Since launching on a local market stall in 2018 we have enjoyed rapid growth; with our team now 40 strong (and growing), we attend 40+ events each year, a shop in Manchester's popular Northern Quarter and official footwear suppliers to host of sports teams including; Leicester Tigers, Wales RU, England RL and Wigan Warriors. We remain ambitious and are looking for new staff members to help the company grow and prosper in the years to come.
Overview:
This is a pivotal support role that ensures our footwear samples, product data, and admin tasks are accurate, organised and aligned across departments. The successful candidate will assist in managing the full product lifecycle -- liaising with factories, preparing for photoshoots, managing samples and ensuring all systems and timelines are up to date. You'll work closely with Design, Merchandising, Marketing and Warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Sample & Product Management
? Manage and track all footwear samples for developments, production and photoshoots
? Lead in organising photography schedules and product selections
? Coordinate with factories to ensure all samples are delivered on time and stored securely and efficiently
? Maintain sample storage and handle sample invoicing processes
? Maintain the showroom with all up-to date samples
? Maintain and update the product critical path across departments
? Update and manage product information and timelines in systems
? Compile and store product info in preparation for Digital Product Passports.
? Provide full admin support to the Buying and Product teams
? Organise internal/external meetings, taking notes when required
? Assist with courier bookings, parcel collections, post and ad hoc office admin
? Liaise daily with suppliers, factories, and internal departments (Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, Warehouse)
Essential Skills & Experience:
? Strong administration and organisational skills with keen attention to detail
? Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
? Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines with a proactive mindset
? Advanced knowledge of Excel and google sheets; comfortable using databases and internal systems
? A clear understanding of the product lifecycle and critical path management
? Previous experience in a Buying Admin or Product Assistant role (placement year acceptable)
? Passion for fashion, footwear and product development
? Ability to work independently and take initiative
Desirable:
? Degree in Fashion Buying, Product Development, or a design-related field
? Understanding of footwear construction and material properties
? Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
? Driving license and access to a car
? Experience of working with a shoe factory
? Previous retail or wholesale experience within fashion or footwear

ANNUAL LEAVE
Permitted 28 days annual leave per year
Permitted a maximum of 5 days of annual leave in October each year
Not permitted to take annual leave in November, December and the first 2 weeks of January
There may be a Christmas shut down in December for all staff, for which annual leave must be used, dates tbc
Please note bank holidays are regarded as normal working days at LANX - however staff may request these as annual leave
