Join the Close Brothers Technology Team where you will support the Product Owner and the wider team in managing and optimising the company's lending platform, powered by Alfa Systems. Working as part of the Technology Team our ideal team member will have previous experience in analysing business requirements, identifying opportunities for platform enhancements and ensuring alignment between system capabilities and business needs with excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa, ensuring clear understanding across diverse stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize enhancements for the lending platform (Alfa) based on business needs and strategic objectives. Analyse detailed business requirements from key stakeholders across the asset finance and leasing operations. Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are translated into effective solutions, maintaining alignment with platform capabilities. Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for system improvements or new features, ensuring solutions are scalable and future-proof. Proactively seek out configuration improvement that enhances user experience and introduce process efficiency. Identify improvements that result in increased performance against Technology's SLA. Ensure team standards and processes are adhered to. Proactively contribute and update system/process documentation. Management of risk logs, including actively following up outstanding actions.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:



A strong ability to analyse complex business problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose effective solutions. Familiarity with lending platforms, ideally Alfa Systems, and a good understanding of asset finance and leasing processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa, ensuring clear understanding across diverse stakeholders. Proven experience in working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations, and balancing priorities. Proficient in eliciting and documenting business requirements, conducting gap analyses, and creating user stories or functional specifications. The ability to understand system capabilities, data structures, and integrations, and work effectively with technical teams.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE/ARE:



Experience working with Alfa Systems or similar lending platforms. Knowledge of asset finance products, leasing processes, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to support reporting and insights. Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
