The VCS Emergencies Partnership (www.vcsep.org.uk) is a small team that makes a big impact. This team operate a "network of networks" model that helps to build community resilience and emergency preparedness. It connects different parts of the resilience sector such as charities, community groups, statutory responders, and both local and national government.



As

Product and Events Manager

, you'll lead the design, development, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of products and events that support the goals of the VCS Emergencies Partnership. You'll work closely with partners and internal teams to ensure high-quality, inclusive, and impactful outcomes. From shaping new ideas through co-design to managing logistics for both in-person and virtual events, you'll play a central role in driving innovation and excellence. You'll also lead on quality monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement, ensuring everything we deliver meets the highest standards and reflects what our communities and partners need.

What will a day in the life of a

Product & Events Manager

involve? You'll be:


Leading the creation and delivery of innovative products that support the partnership's mission. Collaborating with partners to co-design solutions that meet real-world needs. Planning and running engaging events, workshops, and exercises both online and in person. Coordinating logistics, platforms, and technical support for seamless event delivery. Using feedback and data to improve products and events continuously. Monitoring quality and reporting on performance to internal teams and the board. Staying up to date with trends and best practices to keep our work fresh and relevant. Representing the partnership at external meetings and sector events.

What will you need to be a successful

Product & Events Manager?


Strong experience in developing and launching high-quality products. Skilled in planning and delivering online and in-person events. Confident using co-design principles to shape inclusive, user-led solutions. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Able to analyse feedback and data to drive continuous improvement. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of the voluntary and community sector, especially in resilience or emergency contexts. Proficient in using event management tools and digital platforms.
