Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler/Packer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and packing finished products efficiently and accurately. Duties

Assemble products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to ensure precise construction. Pack finished items securely, adhering to quality standards and packaging specifications. Inspect components and finished products for defects or inconsistencies. Maintain a clean and organised work station to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory management by accurately recording parts used and completed units. Follow safety procedures at all times, including proper handling of tools and materials. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience in assembly or warehouse environments is preferred but not essential. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are highly desirable. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual tasks. Basic literacy skills for reading instructions and recording data. Prior experience with assembly or warehouse work will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in manufacturing processes within a supportive team environment, fostering skill development in assembly, packing, and quality control practices.
