About the role

Booker Group are recruiting 3 Product & Brand Developers on 18 month fixed terms contracts to support with our own brand projects.
In this role you will support the Product & Brand Manager to develop proposition-based developments ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs and in line with business priorities and timelines whilst maintaining quality and safety standards.
To do this you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical and commercial according to a gated process as well as conducting market research and competitor analysis to support identifying opportunities.
This role requires regular travel to business locations including our test kitchen.
You will be responsible for
Analysing competitor offerings and benchmarking against industry standards.
Helping identify emerging food trends, consumer preferences, and gaps in the current product range.
Developing products and ranges according to agreed proposition, strategy & deadlines
Presenting proposed new ranges to senior stakeholders ensuring efficient sign off
Coordinating with internal stakeholders, artwork agencies & suppliers to ensure products are launched successfully and on time.
Tracking progress and resolving any issues throughout the gated process.
Presenting new launches to internal stakeholders (Comms, Marketing, Sales)
Supporting and contributing to internal and external stakeholder tastings
Supporting post-launch review

You will need
Experience of working in the product industry (Food Products would be advantageous)
Customer/ market insight/commercial understanding

To be able to commit to regular travel to business locations
