Product & Category Executive - Fluid Power & Seals




We're growing fast and looking for a proactive Product & Category Executive to join our Fluid Power, Seals & Welding team in Wolverhampton.


In this commercially focused role (known internally as Product Manager), you'll support and shape the performance of a key product category within our UK Industrial & Infrastructure division. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to optimise our product range, deliver commercial success, and drive continuous improvement across the full product lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing:



Category Management & Commercial Strategy



Contribute to the UK commercial strategy for your product category Manage and take ownership of P&L performance, pricing strategy, and supplier relationships Identify opportunities to grow the category through cross-sell, OEM conversion, and product development

Product Lifecycle & Proposition



Define and manage core product assortment, supplier base, and sell-out strategy Gather market insights and analyse data to identify opportunities for product innovation Own the end-to-end lifecycle of your product category

Campaigns & Sales Enablement



Support and lead sales initiatives, product campaigns, and training Respond to product queries from internal stakeholders and customers Collaborate with Supply Chain to drive stock turn and optimise inventory

Continuous Improvement



Keep ahead of market trends and competitor activity Act as the internal go-to expert for your category, sharing knowledge and best practices

What You'll Need:



Essential



Experience in a commercially focused product, category, or procurement role Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities

Desirable



Knowledge of fluid power, seals, or industrial components Understanding of product lifecycle, pricing strategy, or supplier negotiations Experience working with B2B sales or technical products
