We are seeking a

Technical Product Manager

to join our technology team in Wigan where you will be the link between business sponsors and stakeholders and the Technology team.


As part of the Technology Front Office team, you will be an expert in business systems and processes, recognising where technological solutions can help to optimise business processes.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of our Technical Product Manager include;

Actively seek to gain knowledge of business processes and systems company- wide Liaise closely with business Sponsors and Stakeholders to capture high level requirements that will deliver against the business case and overall plan Produce well-formed user stories, with acceptance criteria, for use by the Technology team Ensure that solutions are appropriately documented, and end users receive suitable training Devise and maintain roadmaps to track progress suitable for both Technology and Business audiences Attend and participate in Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, Refinement and Planning meetings

Our ideal Technical Product Manager will have the following skills / experience;

Experience with the following software essential: road mapping tools, MS Office 365 applications, JIRA (desirable) Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology (desirable) Customer focussed and understands the importance of service delivery excellence Able to challenge processes and construct logical, credible, and winning arguments that will persuade decision makers (external or internal) Commercially minded and able to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels Committed to acquiring knowledge, utilising, and disseminating it to relevant parties The ability to remain calm as you act as the intermediary between business experts and technology experts ensuring that ultimately everyone is happy with the end result Superior prioritisation, negotiation, and organisational skills
