This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape and accelerate a critical Product Consultancy function within Civica's E

ducation

offering. You'll lead a team delivering across multiple

products

, each supported by a dedicated consultant, within a fast-moving, high-growth area of the business.


You'll have the opportunity to

You'll play a key role in ensuring Civica delivers

excellent implementations, on time and within budget

, while protecting and maximising revenue through strong governance, utilisation management, and milestone control. You'll work closely with

Sales, Business Development, Project Managers, Account Managers, and PMO

to align delivery capacity with commercial priorities.


Stakeholder engagement is a core part of the role. You'll build strong relationships with

C-suite executives, CEOs, COOs, Business Managers, Estates Directors, and Head Teachers

, positioning yourself as a trusted leader who balances commercial focus with exceptional customer experience.

. You'll have the opportunity to shape how consultancy services evolve, embed best practice, and accelerate performance across people, customers, and products--while supporting Civica's mission to improve public services through technology.

Requirements



Proven experience leading and developing high-performing consultancy or project teams Strong service delivery and project management background (PRINCE2 preferred) Experience managing budgets, utilisation, and contractual milestones Excellent stakeholder management, including engagement with C-suite executives Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Key Responsibilities



Lead, mentor, and develop Product Consultants, driving performance and engagement Ensure high-quality delivery of multiple products on time, within budget, and to standard Manage utilisation, forecasting, and contractual milestones to protect revenue Act as escalation point and enable problem-solving across the team Collaborate cross-functionally to align delivery with commercial priorities Embed consistent processes, governance, and best practices across the team

Preferred Skills



Experience in GovTech or public sector delivery (Education a huge benefit) Strong leadership and people development capabilities Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders effectively Commercial awareness with focus on maximising revenue and utilisation Proven ability to implement best-practice delivery frameworks Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
