Product Delivery Partner

Leeds, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

About The Role

Hippo is seeking a Product Delivery Partner who can strategically manage multidisciplinary deliveries and day-to-day commercial operations. This role demands a hands-on approach combined with a strong focus on product leadership, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction while supporting Hippo's long-term growth. While less senior than some other roles within the Delivery Partner cohort, this position is designed to provide room for progression and growth in the role.

You will report directly to an experienced Delivery Partner and work alongside a broader team of delivery specialists. Your primary focus will be supporting and improving product-led deliveries across both public and private sector clients, making prior experience in both contexts essential. You will contribute actively to developing new business, refining delivery methods, and maintaining high standards of client engagement.

You will also work closely with Hippo's Heads of Profession, leveraging your expertise in one or more core disciplines to help define best practice and mentor emerging talent. This role includes 30% utilisation across projects under your purview and offers a clear path for growth and increased responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Lead product-focused, multidisciplinary teams across complex client projects, promoting collaboration and timely, high-quality delivery
Shape user-centred product strategies that drive successful outcomes for public and private sector clients
Continuously evolve Hippo's delivery and product methods in alignment with industry best practices and client needs
Identify client challenges and translate them into innovative product solutions that align with strategic goals
Strengthen client relationships and act as the primary escalation contact for delivery issues
Work closely with Client Partners to coordinate delivery and ensure commercial health across engagements
Support business development efforts by shaping product delivery approaches in proposals and bids
Review and advise on SoWs to ensure both commercial viability and delivery feasibility
Support complex bids, drawing on internal expertise to maximise success rates
Coach and mentor colleagues, particularly around agile product management and delivery practices
Support professional communities aligned to your area of specialism
Align with business development and marketing teams to support campaigns and account planning
Represent Hippo with industry partners and maintain relevant affiliations where applicable
Maintain a 30% utilisation rate across delivery assignments, offering direct value to clients through deep product and delivery expertise
Support experienced Delivery Partners in delivery assurance and commercial oversight
Skills and experience that you need
Extensive experience delivering product-led initiatives across both public and private sector environments
Demonstrated capability in leading multidisciplinary teams in complex digital projects
Strong commercial awareness, including financial tracking and margin management
Proven ability to interpret and advise on contracts, SoWs, and other commercial documentation
Excellent client management and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
Hands-on knowledge of digital delivery processes, agile methodologies, and the full product lifecycle
Track record of guiding teams through ambiguity to deliver impactful outcomes
Desired Skills and Experience
Familiarity with the Government and NHS Service Standard would be advantageous
Demonstrable experience shaping or delivering data-centric digital products with measurable impact
