Design and Cost Engineer

at Riva UK Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the Design, sample manufacture and cost management of our products. You will be responsible for designing innovative products that meet customer needs while ensuring cost efficiency. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments, including sales, operations and finance, to ensure that our products are both high-quality and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop new products in line with customer requirements and market trends. Create samples utilising patternmaking, BOM and Works Order management. Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and engineered for production. Evaluate and select materials, contacting suppliers to optimize cost and performance. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Product Design, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product design and cost engineering. Proven experience in product design and cost engineering. Proficiency in CAD patternmaking software (Gerber preferably) and other relevant design software/tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Pay: 27,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Experience:

Design: 1 year (required) Pattern Making: 1 year (preferred)
