Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
Product Developer (CAD/CAM Technician)
to support the design, development, and manufacture of furniture products. This role involves producing accurate CAD drawings, creating CNC programs, and working closely with production teams to ensure high-quality output.Key Responsibilities
Create and modify
2D and 3D CAD drawings
using software such asSolidWorks, SketchUp, and Cut2D Pro
Convert CAD files between formats (e.g., STEP, DWG, SketchUp) Prepare3D assembly drawings
, carcass designs, assembly instructions, andBills of Materials (BOMs)
Designcustom furniture solutions
to meet customer requirements and support prototype development Create, modify, and testCNC programs
using Cut2D Pro for CNC router machines Work with materials includingplywood and OSB
Support CNC operators during machine setup and production runs Occasionally operate CNC machinery to test and validate new programsSkills & Experience
Experience in
CAD/CAM and CNC programming
, ideally within furniture or manufacturing Proficient inSolidWorks, SketchUp, and/or Cut2D Pro
Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, feed rates, and cutting speeds Good working knowledge ofMicrosoft Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer
