To provide essential support within the Supply Chain team by coordinating administrative and operational tasks throughout the product lifecycle - from initial development through to delivery - with a key focus on development administration.
Working closely with teams such as Supply Chain, Design and QA, this role is critical in ensuring smooth collaboration across departments and suppliers. It involves carrying out timely sourcing tasks, maintaining system documentation, and supporting the development process to keep projects aligned with business goals and on track.
The role also includes working within our PLM system to assist with order entry and other order-related processes as required.
Supporting within the following teams:
Product Development
Contribute to early-stage product development by reviewing supplier proposals and preparing for internal review.
Support range meeting preparation by maintaining development trackers and ensuring sample and cost data is up to date.
Coordinate sample management and following up on missing items or information.
Manage approval processes for licensed products and ensure documentation is correctly maintained.
Assist with packaging checks.
Assist with sending development parcels to suppliers.
Create and update basic product specifications and technical documentation.
Liaise with suppliers to gather information on available stock and assist in planning packaging requirements.
Maintain relevant systems and documentation to support sustainability and compliance processes.
Support digital content needs by arranging samples and assisting with product descriptions.
Quality Assurance
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and suppliers to help resolve product-related issues, ensuring solutions align with cost targets and design requirements.
Supply Chain
Support with order entry process.
Assist with reviewing order labelling for accuracy.
Liaise with warehouse teams to confirm product dimensions and weights.
Provide support with costing tasks when required.
