JOB SUMMARY
The Product Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of Lansinoh Laboratories and is responsible for identifying new business opportunities in collaboration with the Brand Marketing Team, developing new products, and cultivating strategic partnerships to expand our market presence.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business acumen, product management and new product development expertise as well as strong interpersonal skills.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluating product and business development opportunities and gathering business input to define product requirements.
Developing the business case using business, consumer, and market insights to substantiate the commercial opportunity and fix the target product specification.
Responsible for the development and delivery of projects on time, to an agreed specification and cost
Ensure that projects updates are communicated effectively ensuring stakeholders are informed of any changes to the project status effectively and in a timely manner.
Responsible for the development and ongoing accuracy of project timelines, and budgets.
Conducting product testing and validation to ensure product performance, quality & safety.
Compiling technical dossiers to support regulatory compliance and gate approvals.
Strategic sourcing, new supplier onboarding, product & specification, and COG negotiations
Collaborating with key internal functions including Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Packaging.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, or other Technical Discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG, Healthcare, or Medical Devices.
Proven track record of success in an NPD role.
