Job Purpose and Main Duties:
This specialized administrative role, where no two days or tasks are the same is at the forefront of supporting a creative Brand Marketing and Product Development Team.
You'll be working alongside a passionate and creative team of Brand and Product Managers at the cutting edge of housewares product design and marketing across all of our 6 well-known established brands.
You will be responsible for a variety of supportive tasks that will enable NPD focus, all under the guidance of experienced Senior Brand and Product Managers.
Typically, your main duties will involve:
Role
Manage incoming product samples from overseas suppliers - tracking progress and arrivals directly with suppliers. De-label and place in brand sample area.
Manage, maintain, and organise group samples outside areas, by desks and sample rooms to recycling the area
Document, record, and communicate gold seal product samples, adding details around PPT packaging and inspection requirements. Chase factories for gold seals. Unpack, label, and pass to relevant team members.
Chase samples from factories - pass over samples to compliance in timely manner.
Help support the information build on sign off sheets
Construct packaging prototypes/mock ups generated from the design team for photography, showroom displays and customer presentation requirements.
Purchase props for photography styling along with generating product sample lists and offering general support with studio photography shoots - this includes washing up and returning samples.
Showroom maintenance, ensuring all products are available and on display. Arranging for replacements if needed and removing discontinued lines accordingly. Also includes moving end of lines/slobs into promo rooms
Help to build product merchandising layouts for National Account listings and customer presentations. Arrange samples, plan out area with brand/sales team. Arrange photography and return items back to stock
Generate supplier reports to support preparation around supplier visits and meetings.
Arrange for POS to be printed for merchandising layouts / showroom displays and customer presentations
Arrange spreadsheets for Nil - Print out in advance of sales meetings.
Arrange samples for Key customer meetings
About you:
Someone who is interested and excited by learning in a creative environment, has excellent organisational skills, with focus on attention to detail.
Basic administrative skills around using Microsoft Applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Power point and Teams.
Able to be flexible and pivot around a variety of tasks
Good communicator across all departments of the business
Thrive on being part of a team striving for a common goal
Have a natural willingness to help and support colleagues with an enthusiastic attitude.
Have a methodical and logical approach to all tasks.
Able to follow company policies and procedures.
Ability to achieve time sensitive deadlines occasionally under pressure.
