We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Product Documentation Writer.



As a Product Documentation Writer you will play a critical role in creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our Remote Access product. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on translating technical concepts into accessible content that empowers customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities include;



Creating and Maintaining Documentation: Develop high-quality product documentation, including user guides, API references, release notes, FAQs, and onboarding materials using both traditional methods as well as utilising modern AI tooling. Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers, and Customer Success to gather information and ensure documentation reflects the latest product capabilities. Ensuring Consistency and Accuracy: Maintain a consistent tone, style, and structure across all documentation, adhering to brand and accessibility guidelines. Supporting Product Launches: Prepare documentation for new features and releases, ensuring timely delivery aligned with product launch timelines. Improving Documentation Processes: Identify gaps, propose improvements, and implement best practices for documentation workflows and tools, especially the use of AI (where appropriate) to expedite content generation and improve quality. Enabling Self-Service: Create content that reduces support tickets by helping customers find answers quickly and independently. AI Ready Documentation: Create content that is designed to be consumed by LLMs and other types of AI both internally and externally, to ensure RealVNC documentation remains relevant.

Requirements:

You

Have 3-5 years experience as a technical writing or documentation roles, product marketeer, or a similar role in a technology company. Have experience communicating with enterprise level customers. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Are experienced with GenAI, LLMs and other AI content generation tools. Have excellent stakeholder management - internal and external stakeholders. Have experience working within a SaaS company (desirable). Have experience using the Atlassian suite of products - Jira and Confluence (desirable). Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
