Product Engineer

to join our Technical Department and take ownership of product development from concept to certification. This is your chance to work on exciting projects, improve processes, and deliver high-quality solutions that make a real impact.

About The Role



What You'll Do



Lead product design, development, and testing through to third-party certification. Analyse and optimise manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and efficiency. Keep product specifications and compliance documentation up to date. Conduct competitor analysis and recommend innovative improvements. Support new product launches across Plumbing & Drainage, and Ariel businesses. Ensure compliance with CE, BSI, BBA and other industry standards. Deliver training and technical support across teams.

What We're Looking For



Strong technical background in product design and development. Awareness of British/European/International Standards and compliance processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including statistical process control. Great communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Required Criteria



Have a good working knowledge of windows based software e.g. Microsoft Office Have a 3rd level qualification in a relevant technical subject AND 1 years experience in a relevant technical area OR 3 years experience in a relevant technical area

Desired Criteria



Have a high level of proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD packages (Autodesk or similar) Proficiency with Sharepoint or similar software Knowledge / experience of plastics materials and their manufacturing processes Experience of construction / drainage industry
