Product Engineer

to support our Brassware operations across two key southern UK sites: Rainham and Westerham.


This role is your opportunity to lead new product initiatives, drive technical problem-solving, and act as the go-to expert for existing and special product configurations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our product engineering excellence supports operational success.

What You'll Be Responsible For

:

Coordinating the introduction of new, modified, and special products across both sites Managing the technical handover of new products to Assembly, including processing systems and assembly instructions Leading design reviews and ensuring robust documentation throughout product lifecycle Owning the product introduction process to ensure readiness in production, tooling, testing, PPAP, and storage Developing and maintaining project timelines to ensure on-time delivery Monitoring component manufacturing and managing progression through soldering, polishing, and plating Investigating and resolving issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions Supporting a clean, safe, and well-communicated work environment in line with company policies Partnering with production to continually improve technical documentation and work standards

What You'll Already Have

:

Proven ability to read and interpret machine and part drawings Experience using CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar Product or Manufacturing Engineering role A positive, team-first mindset with a passion for doing and delivering Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment Agility to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and methods A proactive, hands-on approach--you're not just a planner; you're a doer
