We are looking for a Product Engineer Tessent is a market and technology leader of electronic design automation (EDA) software products and on-chip instrumentation for semiconductor design-for-test (DFT), yield analysis, silicon validation, and silicon lifecycle management (SLM). Tessent Embedded Analytics products help leading semiconductor companies address silicon validation, debug, and optimisation challenges. As our product engineer, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of the Tessent Embedded Analytics Product Management team and will become an expert in how our customers use our solutions and use that knowledge to help us develop better products and technology. You\'ll have direct influence on the product direction and development of a rapidly growing product line. This position presents a great opportunity to stay involved technically while getting exposure to marketing and interacting with sales. You\'ll make a difference by:

  • Defining and characterising new product capabilities needed to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborating with Tessent embedded Analytics engineering to prototype, evaluate, and test new products and features in context of complex SoC design flows.
  • Leading beta programs and supporting beta partners.
  • Driving product adoption.
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, developing training material, white papers, technical papers, contributed articles, and application notes.
  • Working with customers as well as Siemens EDA stakeholders such as regional application engineers, global support engineers, and marketing to understand customer needs and future challenges.
  • Working through complex technical issues and independently creating solutions and new methodologies.
  • Some travel, domestic and international.
Your success is grounded in:
  • Integrated circuit design, verification, bring-up, debug, post-silicon validation
  • Embedded software development / optimisation
  • SoC / system architecture
  • Your ability to coordinate and drive projects successfully across multiple distributed cross functional teams
  • Proficiency in a scripting language like Python or Tcl
  • Proficiency in LINUX and Windows environments
  • Being an organised, self-motivated, driven individual with strong problem-solving skills, and proven communications (written and verbal English) with internal and external customers
  • Knowledge about the RISC-V instruction set architecture - desirable
  • RTL coding and verification using Verilog /SystemVerilog / VHDL / UVM - desirable
  • Experience with Tessent Embedded Analytics or UltraSoC products or silicon sensors (PVT, voltage droop, path margin etc) - desirable
