Line Manager

Reporting to the Shift Manager the successful candidate will ensure efficient utilisation of resources (Operatives/Machines) to satisfy Company objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

Working with the shift manager to control all activities / operatives on shift. Ensuring machines are set up to meet plan - ensure OEE target is achieved - 80%. Scheduling products and reels of film for machines to meet plan. Working closely with production operatives to ensure machine efficiency, and to carry out training with operatives where and when necessary. Working with QC / Operatives to ensure quality requirements are achieved. Attending machine breakdowns or fault: Ensuring maintenance activities are scheduled / prioritised to meet plan. Assuming total control of the shift, in the absence of the shift manager. Ensuring operations comply with all health and safety regulations.

Essential Criteria:

Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment or alternatively 3+ years in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures specifically, Hassia and T2 bagging machines. Understanding of production related KPI's. Excellent problem solving, team working and interpersonal skills. Strong literacy, numeracy, communication and IT skills.

The rotating shift Pattern is as follows:

Week 1: Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 12.00am
