We are seeking a dynamic and strategic

Flight Efficiency Product Manager

to join our Digital Services team within the Cabin, Modification, and Maintenance organization. This role is a

virtual

opportunity.


The Flight Efficiency Product Manager oversees the evaluation of business opportunities to define and optimize the product offerings by analyzing and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment. You will advise on product development to create products and validate early product definitions with customers. Oversee the formulation of product strategies and identify new product opportunities. Leads the development of project plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share.


In this flight operations role, you will be responsible for guiding airlines on optimizing overall flight efficiency, leading airline flight efficiency campaigns and validation efforts, and providing clear, actionable requirements to support the development of innovative products and features that enhance operational performance and sustainability. You will work closely with business development, marketing, strategy, technical / engineering execution teams, and numerous other functional partners to support and deliver high-value solutions to our customers.

Position Responsibilities:




Collaborate closely with airline stakeholders to implement flight efficiency programs and monitor their effectiveness
Analyze flight operations data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and operational enhancements
Translate operational insights and airline needs into clear requirements that guide product development, design, and feature enhancements
Work closely with engineering, design, and product development teams to ensure requirements are accurately understood and incorporated into design, testing, and deployment phases
Provide expert guidance to airlines on flight efficiency strategies, including best practices, operational procedures, and technology adoption to improve on-time performance, reduce delays, and optimize flight paths
Lead and manage airline flight efficiency campaigns, including planning, execution, and validation of results to ensure measurable improvements
Lead cross-functional teams in the design, testing, and deployment of innovative aviation solutions
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to flight efficiency and operations
Advise on sustainability initiatives and support airlines in meeting environmental and operational goals
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and effectively communicate complex ideas in a succinct and comprehensible fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):




Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a cross-functional environment, either formally or informally
At least 3 years of experience in customer-focused business development, commercial growth strategy, product development, or consulting within technical/aerospace roles
Proven experience (1+ years) in developing and presenting recommendations to executive-level management
Experience (1+ years) in systems integration
Experience in flight efficiency and operational efficiency
Strong understanding of aircraft systems, flight procedures, and aviation regulations
Experience collaborating with engineering teams and providing clear, actionable requirements
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to translate complex operational challenges into precise product recommendations
Travel domestic and international up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):




10+ years of experience in airline operations
Master's degree in a relevant field
Familiarity with data analytics tools
Familiarity with software used in flight operations
Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental regulations in aviation
