A journey defined by a destination; to deliver on our purpose.Let us tell you a bit about the opportunityThis role sits within the Product team which supports Business Finance as well as Savings, specifically focused on the Business Finance portfolios covering Asset Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Invoice and Football Finance. The Product Manager will play a key role supporting the development, management, and enhancement of our Lending propositions to drive growth in this key Asset class for Aldermore.Your expertise in Product management, strategic thinking, and collaboration will be essential in developing and optimising finance solutions that meet customer needs, deliver value, and contribute to the organization's growth. By staying ahead of market trends and ensuring regulatory compliance, you will play a key role in maintaining the organization's competitive edge in the Business finance market.What will your day look like?

  • Proposition Development xe2x80x93 Identifying and developing new strategic lending propositions for Aldermore developed through market research, analysis of customer needs and consideration of the UK Business Lending landscape.
  • End to End Product Management: Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing management. As part of the ongoing management of the propositions you will be responsible for ensuring the propositions remain fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Relationship Management: You will act as a key partner across cross-functional teams including Distribution, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Credit Risk to ensure successful product launches and ongoing positioning.
  • Business Strategy Execution: Collaborate with senior management to define and execute the growth strategy for the Business Lending team. You will support the development of our Key Commercial Targets and Key success metrics for the portfolio.
  • Lending Pricing and Commercial Management xe2x80x93 In conjunction with the Commercial Directors take responsibility for driving the P&L for the designated portfolios. This includes setting financial targets and KPIs to drive profitability and implementing strategies to optimize pricing, reduce costs, and enhance revenue streams.
  • Project Delivery: Undertake specific functional and bank wide projects / activities on behalf of the Business Finance team aligned to the refreshed group strategy covering;
  • Developing / updating transactional processes
  • Supporting delivery of business wide regulatory projects
  • Execution of specific strategic initiatives
What do we expect from you?
  • Product management experience preferably with good knowledge and experience of Business, Commercial / Corporate banking
  • Experienced with change / project management principles, with demonstrable experience of successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical skill set.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and the ability to ensure plans are put in place for improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, contributing towards delivering compelling cases and solutions.
  • Proven influencing and collaborating skills at all levels of the business, along with the ability to proactively manage a wide range of stakeholders and hold challenging conversations.
  • Ability to deliver outcomes in an environment where requirements may at times be ambiguous and/or subject to change and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
