Job Description

This is a strategic and customer-centric product role within a rapidly growing recruitment technology startup. The position offers flexible working arrangements and the chance to significantly influence both product direction and company trajectory. You will become a vital member of a dynamic product team, reporting to senior leadership and helping to bridge customer needs with high-impact product solutions. The role is based in London, with both office and remote work options supported.



Engage deeply with customers to understand pain points, workflows, and requirements, serving as their voice throughout the product development cycle.



Conduct industry and competitor research, identifying emerging trends and technologies to inform product strategy and ensure the roadmap remains ahead of market developments.



Collaborate closely with development teams to translate customer insights into actionable features, managing the handover and supporting delivery through all build phases.



Champion the product by partnering with product marketing and customer success teams to launch new features effectively and ensure strong market adoption.



Balance tactical execution with strategic vision, leveraging customer conversations and industry intelligence to inform both immediate deliverables and long-term direction.



Work cross-functionally across engineering, sales, and marketing to align stakeholders and drive meaningful impact, often without direct reporting authority.



Navigate high-growth startup challenges, adapting to fast-moving priorities, ambiguity, and evolving business needs.



Contribute to an inclusive and open team culture committed to transparency, trust, and ongoing improvement, with frequent opportunities for feedback and innovation.



Requirements:



Strong understanding of recruitment technology, B2B SaaS, or product management within a similar industry.



Demonstrable customer empathy and an ability to extract actionable insights from conversations.



Experience within fast-paced startup environments, with proven adaptability and collaboration skills.



Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of building influence and alignment across diverse teams.



Strategic mindset, able to balance near-term priorities with overarching product goals.



Based in or able to commute to central London.
