Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate Product Manager who will act as an ambassador for their products, you'll develop a profound understanding of our customers and end-user needs. Working within an agile environment, you will inspire the software delivery engineering team through high-value deliverables, communicating the vision effectively.
It will be your responsibility to work with the Lead Product Manager to forge your vision for your products and drive the business goals through the team. CDL expects its Product Managers to be the experts and lead the business in a product led culture to help achieve its lofty goals to expand our UK & global footprints and help our customers win through technology. Focused on our Insurer Products, you will work with a highly skilled team of engineers to innovate and create unique products that align with our insurer product strategy, driving growth and value for CDL and our clients - we are looking for someone who can help us meet out ambitious goals to become a global player in the insurer industry.
We are looking for someone who has strong commercial awareness and expert stakeholder management, preferably in a Software as a Service environment. Product Managers at CDL have the autonomy to develop their products and own the commercial success, they manager the products profit & loss and work closely with the commercial teams to deliver the best value for CDL and our customers.
Within the Insurer Product Team, we are looking for a candidate that can move our insurer cloud-based products forward at pace and create new innovate products that revolutionise the industry on AWS technology stack.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Experienced in product-led delivery in an agile environment
Experienced Product Manager with a track record of delivering valuable products
Strong stakeholder management at varying levels, including proficient at presenting to varying internal/external stakeholders or customers
Highly desirable experience working with cloud-based solutions with a sound understanding of data processes, analytics and AI
Experienced in the full end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation > problem validation > discovery > delivery > impact review
Experience in creating user-personas, story mapping, producing discovery artefacts, market research & data analysis
Critical thinking and problem solving that meets the needs of users
An excellent self-organiser and experience in getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work ensuring buy-in and alignment at all stages through the product lifecycle
