Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do




- Own the growth roadmap for Sage Individual, driving acquisition, conversion, and retention in the UK sole trader market.


- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user discovery to understand the needs and motivations of freelancers and gig workers.


- Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to optimise onboarding, trial-to-paid conversion, and product-led growth strategies.


- Partner with engineering and design to deliver intuitive, customer-centric features that drive engagement.


- Use data, user feedback, and market trends to make informed product decisions.


- Define and track success metrics aligned to growth goals, working in agile, iterative cycles.


- Build strong relationships across product, commercial, and customer success teams to align priorities and maximise impact.


- Stay ahead of regulatory changes like Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, ensuring compliance without compromising simplicity.


- Be the voice of the customer, championing the needs of sole traders in every decision.




About You




- You're a strategic thinker with a passion for customer-driven product development.


- You have experience in growth-focused product management, ideally in SaaS or fintech.


- You're comfortable working cross-functionally and thrive in agile, fast-paced environments.


- You're data-savvy, curious, and always looking for ways to improve the user experience.
