Role Overview
We are recruiting for a Product Manager to join our fast growing and ambitious whistleblowing division working alongside our Operational and Commercial teams based in Sunderland and IT team based in London. In an ever-evolving digital world expectations of cutting-edge technology to enable us to maximise efficiencies are key to any successful business.
We are looking for a highly innovative Product Manager to create digital offerings for our clients. You will be a naturally curious individual who is interested in new and emerging technologies with demonstrable success in delivering new software products, that delight customers, on time and within budget.
You will be a great communicator capable of understanding and articulating customer and market requirements and disseminating them for a development team to deliver. You will have a high attention to detail and will take great pride in managing and delivering successful projects.
This is a high profile, exciting role which would suit someone who enjoys cradle to grave new product delivery.
Main Duties
Define and drive the strategic product vision for our whistleblowing solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market leadership position
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (including AI, automation, and analytics) that could enhance product capabilities, improve user experience, or create operational efficiencies
Competitor analysis - full understanding of main competitors offerings, strengths and weaknesses, their unique selling points and how we position our product to win against them in the enterprise market. Not limited to but including Navex, Conversent, SpeakUp and EQS
Lead market analysis to identify untapped opportunities and develop innovative approaches that position our solutions at the forefront of the whistleblowing industry
Establish and maintain a forward-looking product roadmap that balances immediate customer needs with long-term strategic positioning and technological innovation
Cultivate relationships with key development partners and customers, creating a collaborative ecosystem that drives product innovation and maintains our competitive edge
Develop compelling, ROI-focused business cases for strategic investments in our product suite, with particular emphasis on technologies that deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, security, and user experience
Foster an innovation culture within the product team, encouraging creative problem-solving and strategic thinking to address complex customer challenges
Orchestrate customer workshops and advisory boards to gain insights into evolving market needs, translating these insights into strategic product initiatives
Champion the integration of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning and advanced analytics to enhance data processing, reporting capabilities and predictive insights
Direct the prioritisation of the product backlog, ensuring resources are allocated to initiatives that deliver maximum strategic value and competitive differentiation
Evaluate potential partnerships and integration opportunities that could extend our product capabilities or open new market segments
Lead strategic planning for product scaling, ensuring our technical architecture supports growth while maintaining performance and security
General Duties
Contribute to the LawDeb culture positively, attend meetings as required, and carry out duties willingly and diligently

Carry out such other tasks as you may be reasonably directed to do by your line manager and the senior management team from time to time
Undertake training and development as appropriate and engage fully in the performance management process

Demonstrable experience of delivering new software products that achieve revenue targets, on time and within budget
Innovative thought leader with experience of speaking at conferences and inspiring organisations to invest
Experience of successful software / application delivery from concept to implementation
Experience of working with C Suite to influence buying decisions with well thought out business cases
Keen interest and experience of incorporating new concepts and technologies within products
Experience of working with AI
