Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy, positioning and messaging for our products. This role sits within the wider Go to Market (GTM) function within E.ON Next and specifically within the Product Marketing and Planning team. This team acts as the central hub in a hub-and-spoke model, collaborating with the other GTM teams.
You will work closely with Proposition, Commercial, Strategy, Marketing, and Digital & Ecommerce teams to ensure our offerings resonate with target audiences, stand out in the market, and deliver measurable business impact in line with organisational goals.
Here's what you'll be doing
You will focus on a single business proposition area: Electric Vehicles (EV), Heat, Flex, Small to Medium-sized Enterprise (SME), New Build, Solar & Battery, or Portfolio. In partnership with the Proposition Manager, you will act as the strategy lead for your assigned vertical. Key responsibilities include:
Positioning & MessagingDevelop clear, differentiated value propositions and messaging frameworks for key customer segments Ensure consistency of product narratives across all customer touchpoints

Go-To-Market (GTM) StrategyDevelop and own the end-to-end GTM strategy and plan for new products, features, and updates, ensuring alignment with proposition strategy and business objectives Execute GTM plans, maintaining transparent communication on progress, risks, and trade-off decisions Define, track, and report on success metrics post-launch

Market & Customer InsightsPartner with insights team to brief and oversee competition analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats Partner with customer-facing teams to capture feedback and translate insights into strategy Lead Voice of the Customer (VOC) research to understand customer needs, acting as the internal VOC and ensuring insights are embedded into strategy and planning

Sales EnablementPartner with Digital CX and Ecommerce teams to optimise end-to-end digital and app journeys to align with business strategy and drive performance Partner with outbound calling teams and other sales enablement channels (outside the GTM team) to drive sales outcomes that ladder up to your strategic goals

Content & Campaign SupportCollaborate with other GTM teams - Marketing Strategy & Brand, Digital CX, Sales Performance & Retention, Partnerships, and New Business Development - to design and deliver marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives Support and enhance campaigns that drive lead generation, customer adoption, and retention

Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with Proposition teams to shape roadmaps based on market demand and customer insight Collaborate across all customer touchpoint teams to ensure consistent delivery of onboarding, retention, and sales enablement strategies

Here's what we need from youProven experience in product marketing, ideally in [B2B, B2C, Tech, SaaS] Strong expertise in go-to-market strategy and product positioning development Proven ability to distill complex concepts into simple, compelling messaging Experience conducting competitive analysis and customer research Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong influencing skills with the ability to build alignment without direct authority Robust project management and cross-functional collaboration skills Proficiency in CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
