Salary: \xc2\xa345,000 - \xc2\xa355,000 dependent on experience

Permanent opportunity

FT 35 hours per week

Remote (may be required from time to time to attend one of our hubs for the purpose of collaboration (Crawley, London or Ashford)

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team as the new Product Operations Manager. This is a key role in ensuring our customers\' holidays operate smoothly so you can expect to be immersed in the world of our Touring holidays, working with a wealth of global suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and prompt service for all.

You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Product Executives to drive operational simplification within the function. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys people and stakeholder management well as operational duties. Experience within a similar role is a must!

This is a fully remote role but you may be expected to attend our hubs from time to time as well as the expectation to travel sometimes at short notice.

Role Responsibility

  • Owning and managing the global touring product operational function
  • Leading and developing a team of Product Executives within Product Operations
  • Drive consistency and efficiency of all processes within the Product Operations team
  • Working with suppliers, DMCs, hotels and transportation companies
  • Working closely with all internal stakeholders, taking a collaborative and solution-based approach
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all different levels
  • Management of the operational escalations that arise with a prompt and calm manner, liaising with the relevant people to ensure resolution
  • Maintain close and effective working relationships between Product Operations and Product Management teams. No silos
  • Support the Product Director in delivering the agreed product strategy playing and active part in the direction of the operational function
  • Ensuring products meet company Health & Safety standards with necessary due diligence
  • Being an active part of the Quality process; working closely with Product teams to continuously improve customer satisfaction
  • Foreign Travel as needed to solve operational issues and gain knowledge of destinations
  • Representing at the highest levels with suppliers
  • Play a key role in any crisis situation
The Ideal Candidate
  • Knowledge of working in a group tour operating environment
  • A proven track record in travel Product Operations Management
  • Extensive people management experience and exposure to managing or guiding a team
  • Ability to act as a senior ambassador for the company
  • Exceptional influencing skills with experience working with internal stakeholders, suppliers, hotels and transportation organisations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written & verbal)
  • High level of numerical skills
  • High level of operational experience
  • Initiative, diplomacy, tact and sound judgement
  • Highly organised and disciplined
  • Ability to follow through targets and objectives
  • Flexibility to travel, sometimes at short notice
