Role Summary
The Product Owner will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering innovative banking products and digital solutions. This role requires strong domain expertise in banking, regulatory compliance, and customer experience, combined with agile product management skills to drive digital transformation initiatives.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for banking applications.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to gather and prioritize requirements.
- Drive the development of digital banking solutions such as mobile apps, online platforms, and core banking systems.
- Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and agile development teams.
Requirements
5-10+ years of experience in product management or banking technology roles.
- Strong knowledge of banking products (loans, deposits, payments, credit cards).
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
- Familiarity with risk management, fraud detection, and compliance systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
