We're looking for a motivated and forward-thinking
Product Owner
to join
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG)
, helping to lead the ongoing improvement of our
Salesforce platform
and related systems.
This role will play a pivotal part in shaping how our digital tools evolve to support colleagues and customers -- ensuring our platforms are reliable, intuitive, and ready for the future.
About the Role
As Product Owner, you'll take ownership of the Salesforce roadmap and lead delivery of continuous improvements that support WCHG's business priorities. You'll work closely with colleagues across
ICT, Transformation, and Digital Innovation
to ensure updates are well-planned, well-built, and clearly communicated.
You'll manage a small technical team, collaborate with external partners, and act as the key link between our developers and business users -- making sure that every improvement adds value and builds trust in our digital platforms.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a highly visible and rewarding role at the heart of WCHG's digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Shape and maintain a clear, deliverable
Salesforce roadmap
using Agile methods.
Lead each system release from planning to delivery, ensuring quality and clear communication.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
Own and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical fixes.
Stay up to date with new Salesforce features and identify opportunities for improvement.
Promote awareness of the Product Owner function and its value across the business.
Support cross-department collaboration to ensure alignment between systems and teams.
Lead and develop a small team of technical specialists to achieve key milestones.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a
Product Owner
,
Project Manager
, or similar role managing digital systems or products.
Strong understanding of
Agile
ways of working and the ability to deliver within that framework.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - confident working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of
Salesforce
and its potential to improve business processes.
Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Experience supporting or leading a small team to deliver projects successfully.
A degree in
Computer Science, Business, Project Management
or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Salesforce certifications are a strong advantage.
