Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Tech Product Owner to define and drive the vision for innovative technology products that deliver exceptional value to our users. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with product strategy expertise, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and end users. You will be responsible for prioritising the product backlog, making critical trade-off decisions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features that align with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and user needs. Own and prioritise the product backlog, making data-informed decisions on feature development and technical debt management. Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly articulate requirements for development teams. Collaborate closely with UX designers, engineers, and architects to ensure feasibility and optimal user experience. Conduct market research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and validate product decisions. Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review sessions within an Agile development framework. Monitor and analyse product metrics, user feedback, and KPIs to drive continuous product improvement. Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication of roadmaps, progress updates, and strategic decisions. Work with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and opportunities, balancing innovation with pragmatism. Champion user-centric design principles and advocate for the best possible user experience.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for technical products, preferably in SaaS or platform environments. Strong understanding of software development processes and modern technology stacks. Demonstrated success working within Agile/Scrum frameworks with cross-functional development teams. Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, Aha!, or similar platforms. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making. Familiarity with user research methodologies, A/B testing, and product analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude). Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and modern application architectures is advantageous. Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and API concepts for integration planning is beneficial. Excellent prioritisation skills with ability to make difficult trade-off decisions under uncertainty. Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Professional certification such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or similar is desirable. Passion for technology, innovation, and creating products that solve real user problems.
