Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst - Counterparty Lifecycle Management

Are you looking for an opportunity to shape the future of Counterparty Lifecycle Management (CLM)? Do you have previous experience in a Product Owner or similar role?

In this role you will lead a cross functional team of Business Analysts and Software Engineers and partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions to support Macquarie in fulfilling our Counterparty Onboarding and Ongoing maintenance obligations including fulfilling our KYC and AML regulatory obligations.

This is an exciting area to work, with new technologies and vendors entering the market creating an opportunity to further enhance our Risk Management and Operational processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aligning multiple stakeholders on a shared vision of the future and ensuring buy-in on all major decisions and strategy
  • Leading a cross functional team (clients, users, engineering, design, etc.), and defining a clear path to delivery
  • Driving delivery teams and proposing and achieving successful outcomes
  • Being the voice of the customer by understanding and anticipating needs
  • Being in tune with external market solutions, best practices and industry offerings
  • Defining data and metrics to enable informed decisions and prioritization
  • Creating and managing the backlog of work by prioritizing to achieve the highest value for our business and customers
  • Traditional program management governance (planning, documenting ,reporting etc)
  • Collaborating across global teams, navigating time zones effectively and have flexibility to prioritize your time
Your qualifications & experience will include a tertiary degree in Business, Finance, Information Management or similar and 5 years+ experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role. You come with strong technical skills including strong planning, communication & relationship management skills, coupled with a proven ability in delivering complex regulatory change. A well-developed attention to detail with capacity to appreciate the \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities will be imperative.

Skills required:
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working, experience in iterative development processes
  • Understanding of human centric design principles
  • Significant hands-on experience of managing and developing technology solutions and a track record on driving digitalization, automation and data adoption
  • Ability to articulate complex technical problems and their solutions simply
  • Entrepreneurial, highly motivated and self-directed with a strong delivery mindset
  • Being a team player with the ability to motivate and drive teams
  • Strong negotiating skills and being adept at engaging, collaborating and influencing people at all levels
