Compliance Chain is seeking a driven Product Specialist to support the growth, optimisation, and evolution of our Business Management product - a software solution that helps supply chain partners across the built environment win more work, secure industry-recognised certifications (SSIP and Common Assessment Standard) and manage their compliance documentation in one centralised hub.
This role plays a key part in strengthening the commercial success of the product by ensuring it remains competitive, aligned with the latest policy and regulatory requirements and consistently delivers exceptional value to clients. Acting as the vital link between users and the product team, the Product Specialist will help shape product development through close client engagement, market insight and identification of emerging needs.
With a strong emphasis on outreach, relationship-building and supporting sales expansion, this role ensures the Business Management product continues to grow its reach, impact and relevance across the sector.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and roadmap of the Business Management product using industry knowledge, client feedback and market insight.
Drive sales by proactive outreach and delivering tailored product demonstrations.
Support engagement of our clients' supply chain partners to ensure successful adoption and onboarding.
Build and maintain strong relationships with supply chain partners across the industry.
Gather insights and feedback by facilitating workshops, roundtables and focus groups.
Stay ahead of policy developments (e.g., Procurement Act 2023, PPN 03/24, PPN 002), industry trends, and best practices to maintain product relevance and compliance.
Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer engagement to inform strategy (Salesforce, Monday CRM tools).
Collaborate closely with the marketing and development teams to ensure product positioning and resources align to enhance client success.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience in working with supply chain partners, compliance and construction industry standardsor procurement.
Strong understanding of procurement policies and processes.
Proven ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with trade and industry standards, supply chain management platforms and certification providers for SSIP and the Common Assessment Standard.
Experience in SaaS product development, digital platforms, or transformation initiatives (preferred but not essential).
