Working Week:

Mon - Sat 9am - 6pm

Full Time:

5 days a week including Saturdays.

Brief overview of the role:

We are looking for a Product Specialist / Technical Sales (DJ) to join our team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about DJing and the latest DJ technology, with the motivation and confidence to kick start their sales career. Must have a friendly and outgoing personality.

Duties:

Setup, demonstration and sales of DJ equipment. Deal with customer enquiries for sales and hires (both in-store and online/via phone) Strive to deliver the perfect customer experience to exceed their expectations. Place orders and assist with incoming deliveries. Helping with the day-to-day smooth running of the shop.

Required Skills:

Excellent numeracy & literacy skills.

Strong understanding of audio connectors (XLR, Jack, RCA Phono), USB connections (USB-A, USB-B, USB-C), and power connections including 13A plugs, IEC, and PowerCON.

Working knowledge of a variety of DJ equipment and DJ Software, such as Rekordbox / Serato DJ

Basic knowledge of PA equipment setup, Music Production and Home Studio equipment (preferable) Comfortable setting up and running software on both Mac and Windows operating systems. Ability to troubleshoot errors / issues on Windows, Mac or Linux Attention to detail, with an eye for accuracy, is key for this role, especially with spelling and grammar. Motivation to deliver retail excellence as part of a close-knit team. Experience in a customer-facing environment. Excellent communication skills, including a professional telephone manner

Desired skills:

Basic HTML knowledge. Basic Graphic Design / Photoshop skills. A working knowledge of any of our core brands would be advantageous. Retail experience (not essential) Passionate interest in music, as well as DJ and Studio equipment technology.

Note:

this is a physical role so you will need to be comfortable with lifting heavy objects

Essential qualifications:

GCSE Maths, English and Science (C and above / 5 and above)
You must have the right to work in the UK status to be considered for this role.
